Head coach Rhodri Thomas has made two changes for the league opener against Murrayfield Wanderers.
There is a change apiece in the forwards and backs as the Reds look to get off to a good start at home to promoted Wandies (KO 3pm).
Up front, Mark Renton, impressive at number eight in the cup success over West of Scotland, is forced to drop out of the squad, and is replaced at the base of the scrum by Jonny Riddell.
Charlie Hamilton moves out of the engine room to fill the blindside berth vacated by Riddell, while vice-captain Ben Laing will make his season's debut in the second row.
The change to the three-quarters sees Sam Morley - a debutant last weekend - make his first start since joining the club, as he steps in to the number 15 jersey vacated by Kyle Adams, who like Renton, is unavailable.
And on the bench, Mark Morrison returns to the 1st XV to cover the back five of the scrum, while Liam Parker replaces Alex Watt as the outside backs' replacement.
