Allan Golightly

We are sorry to advice of the sad passing of former Haddington RFC player, Allan Golightly.

Allan Robert Golightly died peacefully at home on the 16th of February 2024. Allan was husband to Kate and father to Susan and Neil.

A private burial will be held at Binning Memorial Wood, followed by a memorial service at St Mary's Parish Church at 3pm on Wednesday 28th of February, to which all are welcome. The family have kindly asked for no flowers please.

Allan is a former 1st XV player, having played on the wing and featured in the 1st XV team which gained promotion to Division One. He was also a formidable 7s player and played many times for Haddington in the shortened version of the game.

Our thoughts are with Kate, Susan, Neil and the rest of Allan's family and friends at this very difficult time.
