We’d like to extend our warmest thanks to Cliff Livingstone (Head Coach) and John 'Gibby' Gibson (Assistant Coach) who are standing down from coaching our senior teams at the end of this season. Both of them started with the team during the COVID pandemic, helping us out in a huge period of uncertainty.

Cliff is a full-on club legend who puts his heart and soul into everything he does. This has been his second stint as our head coach, fully two decades after his first. In between times he’s been Club President, Director of Rugby, as well as helping out in all sorts of other ways behind the scenes.

Gibby has been coaching at the club for the last 17 years, bringing his son through all the age groups and then staying to help with the colts before moving to the seniors. This is exactly what we hope all our youth coaches will do and his input has been hugely valued.

Clubs need people like Cliff and Gibby, so huge thanks for everything they’ve done. We look forward to seeing them both on the sidelines and in the bar next season to cheer the boys on. Further details about the new coaching setup will be announced soon.
