It was a second conseutive bonus-point victory for the hosts, who were made to wait for their fourth try against a spirited Wanderers side.
Alex McCutcheon went over for the hosts to cap an impressive performance in both the back-row and the back-three for the former Heriot's man.
The Reds other scores came from Isaiah Mamea and captain Garry Cockburn, who added to his already impressive try tally for the season.
The all-important fourth try finally came with the last play of the game, as Kris Paterson benefited from a superbly-worked rolling maul to score and seal a second five-point win for the Reds.
McCutcheon was on hand to round off a brilliant team moves, showing good turn of pace on the left wing following Calum Cockburn's early injury to beat the covering defenders to the line for his try.
He also played a part in the try for Mamea, and head coach Bryan Craig admitted he was delighted with McCutcheon's performance. He said: "He's a guy we know can play a bit in the backs and he showed that today."
Nick Bell had another impressive afternoon, controlling the match from stand-off whilst also kicking 12 points, as the Reds maintain their place in mid-table of RBS Championship B.
Paterson's try summed up the hosts' efforts as Spence's well-taken lineout was driven on by the pack, and and with the Wanderers defence buckling under the Reds' pressure, they caved and Paterson crashed over to seal the deal.
That said, there were impressive perofrmances out wide, with Mamea and Euan Herkes combining well in midfield, and James Ferguson looking lively despite not having much possession to work with.
The poor weather conditions that blighted the country on Saturday meant a stop-start affair and the Reds will be delighted to have another five points on the board from a potentially tricky fixture.
Next weekend, Craig and his charges face another tricky encounter at Neilson Park, with Kirkcaldy the visitors as the Reds try to avenge their opening day draw with the Fifers.
