The home side started the match knowing they needed to put in a good performance, having lost heavily at the hands of the Fife outfit earlier in the season.
Following a heavy cup loss to Watsonians last time out, Craig brought Colin Stuart back in the back-row, while Alex McCutcheon and Stuart Miller returned in the backs, at wing and scrum-half respectively.
McCutcheon's return to the side was marked by a try, his fourth of the season, while James Ferguson capped another impressive performance from full-back with his ninth of the campaign.
Despite reaching the break with the lead, the Reds were blown away by a hugely impressive spell just after the interval, as the visitors scored three quick-fire tries to take control of the match.
Their pack powered over the line for the first, before quick interplay amongst the three-quarters worked a clever overlap for their second.
It was to be hard work for the hosts from that moment on, as they pushed to get back into the match, but the visitors' defence held firm throughout the second period.
It wasn't to be, and they put the gloss on the final-score of 46-14 with another pair of tries on full-time.
Defeat may have marked the club's final league match of 2013, but the squad will be determined to put things right when they take on North Berwick and Musselburgh in the New Year.
