The 2nd XV ensured their winning run continued with a hard-fought win over Berwick at Scremerston on Saturday.

Alan Laidlaw led a youthful 2nd XV side, with Keegan De Vos making his first start and partnering Ewan Cunningham at half-back in this end-of-season friendly.
The Reds, still featuring regulars Gav Harper, Rob McLuckie and Rab Watt - the latter in his final match for the club before heading to pastures new - in the pack.
They started poorly, though, and allowed their hosts' big pack to dominate the contact area.
Graeme Morton caught the eye in the number eight jersey, and he played his part as the Goats scored the game's first try, with some neat handling putting Brad Corner away to score out wide.
Connor Munro missed the conversion, but kicked a penalty late in the half to extend the lead.
They were pegged back early in the second period, when a powerful Berwick drive took them close to the line.
The initial surge was repelled by Harper and McAlpine, but the hosts crashed over with the next phase.
Haddington's dominance shone through in the second half, with skipper Laidlaw and fellow veteran Craig Harrison to the fore.
Harrison got on the end of a fine team move to dive over, while a third try by replacement Doug Crichton sealed the win.
Elgin Millar made a late cameo from the bench, with a wayward kick his only noteworthy contribution to the Reds cause, while Kieran Haldane also appeared in the second half, joining Harper in the second row.
The 2nd XV extend their winning run to 12 matches, and they are likely to be in friendly action on Saturday - although that is to be confirmed.

Hats off as well to Rab Watt and Connor Mitchell, who each donned the Berwick colours with the host club shy of a prop. Both performed admirably, and Watt almost found his way onto the scoresheet, with Ally Stewart sparing the Goats' blushes.
