Berwick Tournament - Excellent Teamwork from the P3's

The kids played 6 games in total, winning three, drawing one and losing two, although one of the loses and the draw we should have won but the decisions just didn't go our way!!

A few highlights to mention. Defensively the effort of the team was outstanding with the kids all working for each other to make sure that the opposition didn't score, great to see such a strong team spirit.

For Bob, Tom and I our highlight was the game against a strong Hawick team, who in their previous games has looked very good indeed. The kids defence, Mr Maidstone Jnrs excellent handing skills - that his Dad could only dream about! - meant that they won this game 3-2. To put this into context, the referee and Hawick coach (ex-Scotland International Scott MacLeod) both made a point of coming over to congratulate the kids on how well they played.

We have two weeks off so will see you on on Sunday 29th October.
